Founder and Managing Partner of The Raptor Group, Former Vice Chairman of Tudor Investment

James J. Pallotta is the Managing Director and Chairman of The Raptor Group, a private investment firm backed by Mr. Pallotta’s family office. 

Prior to founding The Raptor Group, Mr. Pallotta served as Vice Chairman of Tudor Investment Corporation. 

Between 2012 and 2020, Mr. Pallotta served as the President and Chairman of Italian football club AS Roma and was Co-Owner and Executive Board Member of the Boston Celtics between 2002 and 2020.

Throughout his career Mr. Pallotta has actively invested in and across early stage, growth stage and late-stage companies within technology, consumer, financial services, healthcare and sports and media verticals. 

Mr. Pallotta is a member of the Board of Trustees for Northeastern University, the Berklee College of Music, the Santa Fe Institute, New Profit, Inc., and the Buoniconti Fund. He also serves on the Homeland Security Advisory Council, and previously served as a member of the Advisory Council for the MIT Media Lab.
