Margaret began her career at Barclays Investment Bank in New York, where she spent three years in the Private Capital Markets group focused on capital raises for high-growth technology companies. In this role, she primarily focused on the Semiconductor and Frontier Technology sectors and executed transactions spanning pre-IPO growth capital, PIPEs, de-SPACs, and other structured liquidity solutions, coordinating across industry coverage teams, management teams, investors, and legal counsel from origination through close.
During her tenure at Barclays, Margaret developed expertise across the full capital raise lifecycle and was involved in several landmark transactions, including a $1.1bn Series G for Cerebras Systems, a $140mm Series D for Empower Semiconductor, a $150mm pre-IPO convertible for Fruitist, and a $110mm Series C for Advanced Navigation, among others.
